Policy on Anti-Social Forces
Our basic policy on severing any relationship with anti-social forces
Compliance without exception
Arterect Inc. declares as a basic policy that it will sever all relationships with anti-social forces, in order to meet its social responsibilities as a company and to run a sound business.
Excluding anti-social forces
We sever all relationships with organised crime groups, their members and associate members, affiliated businesses, corporate racketeers, groups engaging in criminal activities under the pretext of social movements, organised special-intelligence violence groups, and any equivalent parties (“anti-social forces”).
Business relationships
We do not transact with any company, organisation or individual in whose management anti-social forces are found to have substantive involvement. We carry out appropriate checks, both when a relationship begins and while it continues, to confirm that the other party is not an anti-social force.
Refusing improper demands
We respond firmly to improper demands from anti-social forces, and provide neither funds nor favours under any pretext whatsoever.
Responding as an organisation
We respond as a whole organisation in order to prevent harm from anti-social forces. Where a relationship is discovered, we end it promptly and deal with the matter in cooperation with the police, legal counsel and other outside specialists.
Training and awareness
We provide ongoing training and awareness work for directors and employees on severing relationships with anti-social forces, and work to raise compliance awareness across the company.
