About AWS Startups / AWS Activate
AWS Activate is a broad programme from Amazon Web Services, a leader in cloud computing, that supports the growth of startups. It provides AWS credits, technical support and business support — the resources a startup needs in order to scale. Through an ecosystem of more than 200 cloud services and global infrastructure, it gives startups a base from which to go worldwide.

Why it matters to us
AI is at the centre of what we do; we are building the general-purpose model Cardinal and the information-control engine Veda. Developing and running those products needs cloud infrastructure that is both scalable and highly available.
With AWS Activate we can make fuller use of AI and ML services such as Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker, strengthening the technical base for developing our AI products and taking them beyond Japan.
